Philip Kahue

Philip Kahue is president of Ke`aki Technologies, LLC. Mr. Kahue also serves as chairman of the Manu Kai, LLC Board. Manu Kai, LLC, is a joint venture of Ke`aki Technologies and ITT Corporation, Systems Division.

Before joining Ke`aki Technologies, Mr. Kahue served in the U.S. Army. He retired in 2005 as a Lieutenant Colonel, with a specialty in healthcare administration. He began his career as a medical platoon leader in an infantry battalion, and culminated his career as the executive officer to the Dental Corps Chief and Deputy Surgeon General for the U.S. Army. During this time, he performed a myriad of duties in administrative, operational, and command positions. His many military awards include the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award for Health Services Command and induction into the Order of Military Medical Merit.

Mr. Kahue is a volunteer board member with the Hawaii Procurement Institute, a procurement strategies think-tank for small businesses in Hawaii. He has also volunteered his time on two mission trips to post-Katrina New Orleans for Operation Back Home, a rebuilding initiative with the Southern Baptist Missionary Convention.

After graduating from the University of Hawaii, Mr. Kahue entered the United States Army in 1984. He received his masters in healthcare administration from Baylor University in 1995. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Combined Arms Services Staff School and the Command and General Staff College. Mr. Kahue is a certified healthcare executive and a diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
