Craig Floro is chief executive officer of Ke`aki Technologies LLC. Previously he was executive vice president of Akimeka LLC where he developed significant programs impacting the State of Hawai'i and the Department of Defense, improving both capability and public safety infrastructure. Mr. Floro was also the key architect for the Joint Information Technology Center on Maui, and the telecommunications interoperability program for federal, state, and local public safety agencies on the Island of Hawaii in support of homeland defense initiatives.

Previously, Mr. Floro was the program director and chief operating officer for the Akamai Telemedicine Program in Honolulu, Hawai'i. This program—which managed more than $100 million in telehealth and clinical research and development projects—focused on regional picture archiving and communications systems (PACS); teleradiology; telehealth systems design; software prototyping; development of clinical applications of emerging technology; and medical evaluation programs supporting military, federal, and international medical facilities in the Pacific Rim. Mr. Floro also successfully designed, deployed, and implemented nationally recognized telehealth, teleradiology, and imaging programs throughout Korea, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands. Several of the projects won national recognition and awards.

Previously, Mr. Floro was director of Strategic Planning for Tripler Army Medical Center, the largest health system in the Pacific Region. He completed a distinguished career in the Army in 1997. Mr. Floro earned a bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky, a master of arts in business management from Webster University, and a master’s in health administration from Baylor University. Mr. Floro is a certified healthcare executive and a diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
